Announcing a new social media fellowship from NIH
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is pleased to announce a new social media initiative. This initiative is designed to promote and support research on social media interventions that can improve health outcomes. Through this initiative, NIH is providing funding for fellowship programs that offer opportunities for individuals to conduct social marketing research. These fellowship programs will provide stipends for participants, as well as support for travel and other research expenses. We encourage eligible individuals to apply for these fellowship opportunities.
Social media research
NIH is providing this fellowship to conduct research-based assessments to determine best practices for HIV.gov’s social media utilization. Her research will help determine best practices for using social media and new technologies in order to reach specific audiences.
A fellowship opportunity, in the Office of Infection Diseases and HIV Policy OIDP is seeking an individual who is currently pursuing or has received a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in one of the relevant fields within the past five years. The participant will receive a monthly stipend commensurate with educational level and experience.
